FireRocket attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data. In this privacy policy we explain which data we collect, why we do so and which rights you have. We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Article 1 – Who we are

Article 2 – Which personal data we process
Depending on how you use our website, we may process the following data:
- name and address details (name, address, place of residence);
- contact details (email address, telephone number);
- order and delivery details;
- payment details (processed via our payment service provider; we do not store full card details);
- account and login details (if you create an account);
- data about your use of the website, such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed (via cookies);
- your email address and preferences if you sign up for our newsletter or request a back-in-stock notification.
Article 3 – Purposes and legal bases
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
- carrying out your order and the agreement (basis: performance of the agreement);
- processing payments and preventing fraud (basis: performance of the agreement / legal obligation);
- providing customer service and answering questions (basis: legitimate interest);
- sending our newsletter and back-in-stock notifications (basis: consent);
- improving and securing our website and analysing its use (basis: legitimate interest / consent for non-functional cookies);
- complying with legal obligations, such as the fiscal retention obligation (basis: legal obligation).
Article 4 – Cookies
Our website uses cookies and similar techniques. We distinguish:
- Functional cookies: necessary for the functioning of the website and the webshop (for example your shopping cart). No consent is required for these.
- Analytical cookies: via Google Analytics we measure how visitors use our website so that we can improve it.
- Marketing cookies: via the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and the TikTok Pixel we measure the results of advertising and can show relevant ads.
For analytical and marketing cookies we ask for your consent in advance. You can always adjust your cookie preferences or delete cookies via your browser settings. You can find more information on our cookie page.
Article 5 – With whom we share your data
We do not sell your data to third parties. We only share data with parties that help us deliver our services (processors), including:
- Shopify – our e-commerce platform and hosting of the webshop;
- Payment service providers – for the secure processing of payments;
- Delivery services – for delivering your order;
- Klaviyo – for sending our newsletter and email communication;
- Kbite – for sending back-in-stock notifications;
- Google – for website statistics (Google Analytics);
- Meta – for advertising measurement (Meta Pixel);
- TikTok – for advertising measurement (TikTok Pixel).
Where required, we conclude data processing agreements with these parties to protect your data.
Article 6 – Transfers outside the EEA
Some of the parties mentioned above (such as Shopify, Google, Meta and TikTok) may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case we ensure that the transfer takes place on the basis of appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision (such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework).
Article 7 – Retention periods
We do not retain your personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. A statutory fiscal retention obligation of 7 years applies to our administration. We retain newsletter data until you unsubscribe.
Article 8 – Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss or unlawful processing. Our website uses a secure connection (SSL).
Article 9 – Your rights
You have the right to:
- access, correct or have your data deleted;
- object to the processing;
- have the processing restricted;
- have your data transferred (data portability);
- withdraw consent given previously.
You can submit a request via info@firerocket.nl. We respond to your request within four weeks. To make sure the request was made by you, we may ask you to identify yourself.
Article 10 – Filing a complaint
Do you have a complaint about the way we handle your data? Then you can contact us. You always have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
Article 11 – Changes
We may amend this privacy policy from time to time. You can always find the most current version on this page. We recommend that you consult this policy regularly.
