How it works

Lit in 6 steps

Lighting it is surprisingly easy - no electricity or gas needed.

  1. Position the stove

Place the FireRocket on a flat, stable and heat-resistant surface. Fit the glass tube and cap onto the base.

  2. Fill with pellets

Fill the reservoir with quality ENplus A1 wood pellets for a clean, stable and beautiful flame.

  3. Light it

Light the pellets with a gas burner via the opening at the bottom. No electricity or gas needed — just pellets and a lighter.

  4. Let the flame stabilise

After lighting, it takes about 5 to 10 minutes before a beautiful, stable vertical flame forms that gives off lovely warmth.

  5. Enjoy the warmth

Pull up a chair and enjoy a cosy, smoke-free evening in your garden or on your terrace.

  6. Cool down & store

Let the stove cool down completely and store it indoors or under a canopy, protected from the weather.

How to light your FireRocket most easily
Tip

How to light your FireRocket most easily

A pellet stove burns best with enough oxygen.

The easiest way is to light the wood pellets directly with a gas burner (using butane gas).

Prefer a firelighter or fire wool? Here's how:

  1. First put the wood pellets in the reservoir.
  2. Light the firelighter or wool and drop it in through the opening where the flame comes out — so not through the reservoir, as it won't fit through there.
  3. Only then place the glass and the cap.

Is the flame slow to get going? Pull the ash drawer at the bottom out slightly for extra air supply.

From a cold evening to a warm garden

Tips & advice

Get the best out of your FireRocket

Our tips for the most beautiful flame, a long lifespan and safe burning.

Choose the right pellets

Use ENplus A1 wood pellets. They ensure a cleaner burn, a more stable flame and a longer lifespan for your stove.

Protect against the weather

Store the stove indoors or under a canopy when you're not using it. This prevents rust and moisture or weather damage.

Burn safely

Place the stove on a flat, heat-resistant surface and away from flammable materials or overhanging greenery.

Top up in time

You can top up pellets while burning. Do this in good time, before the stove goes out - otherwise you have to refill and light it again.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can I use the FireRocket indoors?

The FireRocket is intended for outdoors or a well-ventilated, covered space such as a conservatory, terrace canopy or balcony — provided there is sufficient ventilation (for example a window open). Never use it in a fully enclosed space. We do not recommend the FireRocket 83 cm for spaces larger than 20 m².

How effective is it in the open air?

Thanks to the powerful combustion and the vertical flame, the FireRocket gives direct, targeted warmth. The Pro and Pro RVS have an extra-long glass tube (120 cm) and also spread pleasant warmth in the open air. For use fully outdoors, we recommend a Pro model rather than the 83 cm.

What about fuel consumption?

Fuel consumption differs per model. The FireRocket 83 cm has a 1.8 kg pellet reservoir (approx. 1.5 hours). The FireRocket Pro and Pro RVS have a 3.5 kg pellet reservoir (approx. 2 hours). We recommend ENplus A1 wood pellets for the most beautiful, cleanest flame.

How is it installed?

Place the separate parts (glass tube and cap), fill the reservoir with pellets and light it with a gas burner via the opening at the bottom. Bear in mind that it can take 5 to 10 minutes before the stove burns well and steadily.

Are pellets and a lighter included?

No, you buy wood pellets and a gas burner separately. That way you choose the best quality pellets yourself for a beautiful, clean flame.
