Which FireRocket is right for me?
The 83 cm FireRocket is the compact model, with a 1.8 kg hopper. The 170 cm Pro has a taller flame display and a 3.5 kg hopper. Compare their dimensions and the outdoor space available.
What is included, and what else do I need?
You receive the pellet heater with its glass tube, top cap and base. Wood pellets and a handheld gas burner are not included and must be purchased separately.
Do I need electricity or a gas cylinder?
While burning, the FireRocket runs on wood pellets without mains power or a connected gas cylinder. A separate handheld gas burner is used for ignition and is not included.
How long does a full hopper last?
Approximately 1.5 hours for the 83 cm FireRocket and 2 hours for the Pro. These are estimates; actual burn time depends on the wood pellets and operating conditions.
How do I maintain the heater?
Remove ash and combustion residues only when the fire is completely out and the heater has cooled down fully. Follow your model’s instructions for cleaning and inspection.
Can I use the FireRocket under a canopy or on a veranda?
Yes, as long as the space is open enough and you keep the distances. The FireRocket is an outdoor heater without a flue, so under a roof you follow three rules:
- At least a quarter of the space (walls and roof together) is open, also while the heater is burning.
- At least 40 cm of free space between the top of the heater and the roof.
- At least 40 cm of free space all around, to walls, fences, cushions and curtains.
Can I use the FireRocket in a conservatory or garden room?
No. Do not use the FireRocket in a space that can be closed, such as a conservatory, garden room or veranda with closed walls or windbreaks – not even with a window open. If the walls are fully open, it is possible, as long as you follow the rules above. Never use it indoors.
